We will go on a magical journey together just before midwinter, before the 𝙍𝙖𝙪𝙝𝙣ä𝙘𝙝𝙩𝙚 begins. Also known as the Smoke Nights. These twelve sacred nights fall outside of ordinary time: a passage through the darkest days of winter, when the veil between worlds grows thin.
Rooted in ancient European tradition, this cycle invites us to slow down, reflect, and reconnect with the deeper rhythms of nature and spirit. It is a sacred pause, a moment to look back on the year that has passed, to release what no longer serves us, and to open our wombs and hearts to the year that is yet to come.

Frau Holle had shaken out her blankets generously for our mini retreat, in the silent white snow landscape of Frau Holle in Wild Park Meissner, Germany.
We worked in her energy in the most beautiful places, released in her depths, and were able to receive so much.
The ritual in the Kitzkammer cave was truly magical. The heaviness I laid down before me was taken in by the earth.

Where we will stay:
Tucked away in the rolling hills and dense forests of northern Hessen lies Spangenberg, a charming medieval town that feels both grounded and timeless. Narrow cobblestone streets wind between half-timbered houses, each with its own quiet story to tell. Above the town rises Spangenberg Castle, a proud sentinel overlooking the valley a reminder of centuries of history and resilience.
You have your own bed and there are 2 bathrooms. First day we will share a winter potluck. Rest of the food included.
But we will cook together.
Not included: your transportation to Germany. We can organise carpooling together. If you want to eat or drink something when we are going out.
